I am in Wales, UK, Wayfarer thinks I am in Australia. I’ve cleared cookies/cache, location is allowed, Hometown is set correctly, Wayfarer Challenge is off. Can anyone help?
Hey, have you been recently travelling? One one source of reviews is also the last player location, so you could try to play the game a bit more
Nope, haven’t been further than Manchester recently- certainly no where near Australia 
Dumb question, but you also checked your bonus location, right?
Yes, it matches my home location. I’m a very active daily player too.
Just to add, no VPN use either.

When you open up the map where does that place you?
Does this happen on other devices?
And when did this start?
Hey- it only happens on my laptop, if I log in on a mobile device (but on the same wifi) it doesn’t seem to happen. It seems to put me in Acacia Ridge, on the outskirts of Brisbane, absolutely no idea why when I live near to Penmaenmawr in Wales. I’ve never been to Australia. All my location settings (home and bonus) say Wales. I’ve only started using Wayfarer this week.

Are you talking about the Wayfarer Map location that loads, or the reviews?
Home and bonus area is about reviews, but you saying it depends on device makes me think you are talking about the map. That depends on your device’s location (or what it thinks your location is). The settings on the Wayfarer page have nothing to do with that.
