I tried relocating this wayspot to its right location at -33.439767, -70.639752 but it got declined, here i’m gonna try to prove the real wayspot location with pictures.

So this wayspot is located underground in a metro station as shown in this picture

I circled the stairs in the back to use it as reference for the next the next photo

and to show that it’s the same stairs circled in this photo from the aerial view of the location. I used the iitc drawing tool to estimate it’s real location based on an estimated distance of 20m (using the the first photo for this) and the real location of the wayspot should be at the red X (coordinates -33.439767, -70.639752) and not on its current location (the blue circle), it might look like it’s being moved to the middle of the street but it’s because it’s underground and safely reachable from there.

Hopefully this change helps for better wayspot scanning as it will be well positioned.

Wayspot Appeals is not for rejected location edits:

I don’t see any evidence I can follow that the statue is where you are trying to move it to, but if you use help chat (go to Niantic Wayfarer then tap the text box), you can submit geo-tagged photos there. Or use the form for modifying a wayspot listed at the top here as "Wayspot Removals. Or you can appeal from your contributions page.
