Wayspot location moved to incorrect location

When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:

  • Wayspot Title: Deity Statue #2

  • Location (lat/lon): 27.487571, 83.276923

  • City: Lumbini

  • Country: Nepal

  • Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information):

  • Additional Information (if any): The wayspot got accepted but it seem to be placed somewhere different(near about this co-ordinates - 27.488800,83.275874) from the point of submission in the game map. Because of which it has been conflicted by another wayspot already live in the same L17 S2 cell. Therefore I am requesting you to kindly move the wayspot to its correct location where the other deity statues (#1 and #3) are already live in game. The location I am looking for the waypoint to be moved to is 27.487571, 83.276923.

Hello and welcome,

You can request a location edit via help chat on the Wayfarer website. Being there’s no Street View here, you may need to provide geotagged photos or a Scaniverse splat to prove the correct location.

Wayspot Appeals is to appeal a valid removal request that’s been rejected, or to request restoration of a valid Wayspot that’s been removed.

Please be reminded that help chat wont move wayspot into empty cell simply to make pokestop. Its considered abuse to move wayspot away from its actual location. If you believe the location is wrong you need to prove it to help chat

The accepted location 27.488800,83.275874 is in a square where it looks like statues might exist

The requested location 27.487571, 83.276923. is in woodland alongside a river where it doesn’t look as though there are any statues.

It could still be there, but you haven’t provided the submission photos, which doesn’t help with any speculation about where it might be.
