Since the old forum there are few users from Saudi Arabia asking some advices for their nominations. Quite fascinating, because Pokemon GO was supposedly not legally available in that country (and I assume Ingress and other Niantic games, too?)

Help us build a community in Saudi Arabia

Hello all, the game just got released in Saudi Arabia and the community is very small since there is almost no pokestops. Would appreciate anyone that can change their bonus location to Jeddah - Saudi arabia. Common things that you will see are coffee locations and mosques and manarat( a tall tower usually built next to mosques) sadly a lot of general businesses. Any support and help would be appreciated <3

Reviews in Saudi Arabia

Hello, as game was just released in the country. I feel obligated to help increase the amount of pokestops available. How many reviews are needed and is it possible to get help from other areas to increase the pokestops available? I do not believe that there are that many +37 level players since the game was just released. Furthermore, is nomination like government building or cell towers (different designs) eligible to nomination? I saw many of those ones

Wayfarer Challenge for 2025 incoming (Speculation. Not Confirmed, and I don’t work for Niantic, so I have no idea what I am talking about!). Saudi Arabia will get the excitement of the international reviewers… you can almost feel a massive amount of wayspots incoming in no time!

Yes, there should be another Wayfarer challenge for Saudi Arabia (or in greater extent, whole Middle East and Africa continent if possible).

Also additional tip for everyone else: try befriending players from Saudi Arabia in-game for the rarest, Sandstorm-pattern Vivillon postcards.
