What's Going On?

That absolutely would be cool, it might also introduce players in such areas to Wayfarer submitting and empower them to begin doing more submissions on the ground

Clear communication that helps all parties to understand what went wrong and how to improve is something I strongly believe in. It leads to a better experience for all.
It is frustrating when we end up having to appeal ( my appeals are precious and carefully managed as I need them).
Sometimes I have that instinctive reaction to a rejection of …oh for goodness sake followed by indigent ranting in my head. But once calm I appeal. There is normally something I was taking for granted or a genuine mistake.
And I have to remind myself that when I review I am perfectly capable of making a mistake. So much as though it feels easier to ascribe the rejection to incompetence, maliciousness or a wrong interpretation it is probably just the human factor and the greyness of judgement calls in action.
Having been in receipt of what I always describe as the non-educational email the concept is at heart a good one and I think it has improved since I had mine, but there is always room for improvement.
