What is considered a vote?

On the 15th October the topics in the AMA section will alter to have a voting option like there is in the bugs section. So at that point you can cast votes on those you would like to see answered.

Edited to add image of how it will look

All forum members? Staff too?

This is not true. Unused wayspot might become powerspot or replacement if the chosen wayspot (to be pokestop/gym) got removed sometime in future. Its not entirely wasted. You can actually see if it have unused wayspot before submission so you know if you will got duplicate or no when you submit.

Since pokemon go have s2 cell rules.pogohave its own inclusion rule where only 1 wayspot might appear in 1 lv17 cell. Wayfarer have no say on this matter because wayfarer only supply wayspot. Wayfarer is being used not only for pokemon go but also other game. Its up to pokemon how to use these wayspot. You need to bring this to pokemon go, not wayfarer.

What you’re asking would require each game to have their own database which isn’t likely to happen. If the wayspots are not showing up in Pokémon Go even though there are empty cells, it’s either that they were requested to be removed from the game, in a geoblocked area, or require a resync to appear. If it’s the latter, you can enquire about it here.

Hi @TjoeMi @PikaPika , I have moved your follow-ups to @Meargler 's question here, let’s please follow the instructions that have been laid out in the announcement post and discuss questions here if needed while keeping the question collection topics clean.

That said @Meargler I also didn’t understand your question - I have not seen a scenario in which something that met Pokémon GO eligibility rules did not appear because of a “hidden duplicate”, since if the hidden duplicate met Pokémon GO inclusion rules it would have been in Pokémon GO in the first place, and other games don’t “steal” wayspots from Pokémon GO.

The only situation in which I can imagine this would happen is a property owner request resulting in Pokémon GO wayspots being removed from the area, or some kind of bug.

You may want to rephrase your question to clarify what you meant as I am curious which exact scenario you had in mind or if there is a technical issue somewhere, but this is obviously only a suggestion.

@Ferrothorn Your question for the AMA is answered in the announcement

**Will my older accepted nominations count?**

* So, older accepted Wayspots will not be counted in the newly accepted nominations section of the email for that month. However, any player interaction with those older approved nominations in the previous month will still be counted and that will show in the email under the **Exploration Enabled by You** section.

Thanks, must have missed that. Guess you can delete that one then. I’ll think of more.

I have removed it for you.

Please do think of more :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Very good question to raise, and my simple tip is to use guidance and training, which are good tools to use.

There was a small test to do when you were completely new - or when nominations via Pokémon were made possible (there were no tests when I started with Ingress in 2013) which was a good way to gain awareness of the then applicable rules.

And those who have been warned because of their nomination - should absolutely, if they haven’t already done so - undergo a test (preferably adapted to the area they were warned about and the related rules).

But training of the general public should also take place on similar premises to ensure that they still understand what applies - and should also be mandatory if rules are added/changed/removed. This should not have the same meaning as a requirement for a passed test - but rather act as an information and reminder for nominators and reviewers.

Hi @yido , as above, I have moved your follow-up to @Gendgi 's question here and added a link to it. Let’s please only use this topic to discuss other people’s questions as in the instruction and leave the question topic to the OP. Don’t hesitate to start your own question topic if you have one, alternatively.

Super - I missed the instruction part - altered between new topics, and this was one of my first unseen - but great that you corrected the thread and the comment accordingly…

Welcome to the forums,

My only worry is the risk of abusing this or not being “professional” in the response.

“This is s**t” would not be helpful.

@SlimboyFat71 your post has also been moved - please read above

Yea thx. I didnt realize its for AMA haha

@TjoeMi I don’t object with your AMA but we have seen bad decision approval from Niantic so…

Well understand but it should still better than current algorithm. And it serve as additional check for wayfarer staff appeal work. They can change it if approved appeal got overturned, showcase can be taken down as well.

Your flower case should benefit from this as well, if assuming you appeal and make it appear in showcase (based on my scenario)
