Why hasn’t my approved POI shown up in my game yet? It’s already been a month.

The most likely reason is S2 Cells.
If this is the case…
Your nomination may…
- become a Powerspot (Dynamax / Gigantamax) depending on its proximity to other waypoints.
- replace the existing waypoint if that is removed for legitimate reasons. ***
- be used in other Scopely games.
***Do Not attempt to get a legitimate wayspot removed just to get yours on to the map. This is seen as Abuse and can lead to suspension / bans of all accounts (Wayfarer, Pokemon Go and any other Scopely games).

If you can pass the GPS Co-Ordinates (shown on the 1st email when you nominated) we should be able to confirm…

There are no coordinates in the approval mail, so I searched for the location on Google.

Hi,
There seems to be a technical issue with the up to date mapping. The image below is from a map that stopped syncing in May 2025.
If it the correct location it seems to have been in an empty cell but I can not confirm whether anything else has been added since.
You can check the submit map in the PoGo app to check but you need to be at the location.
The green lines are the cells, if there is another stop / gym in the same cell as the pin yours would not show.

I translated the text in the photo and I’m wondering if this wayspot was removed after being accepted. Flagpoles often don’t meet the eligibility criteria, but this says it was accepted on appeal, and the appeal text and description don’t really give any information as to why the flagpoles should be accepted. So I’m wondering if the appeal reviewer made a mistake, and then their mistake was fixed.
