Hi! This isn’t necessarily a bug, so apologies if it’s flared incorrectly. I accidently set my hometown as the completely wrong place. I know it’s supposed to be permanent, but I wanted to double check and ask if there is any way at all to change it?
Niantic staff can reset it as one time exception. Please wait until staff come and read this post

I have reset your Hometown. You should now be able to set it to a location of your choice.
