I received a consultation regarding an account ban on X. I directed two people to this forum, but both of them were denied access. This happened on January 22 and May 22, 2026. For one of them, I posted to the forum on their behalf, so I know the account. I found it strange to read another person who was account-banned consulting this forum directly. Do you know the cause of their access being denied? Could you please look into the reason?
It would probably help to provide details of the errors they are getting (screenshots). Hopefully Niantic start a DM with you so that you can provide the trainer names, but be aware that Niantic will not be able to discuss the details with you as you are a third party.
People who have been suspended or permanently banned from Pogo and Wayfarer can still post on these forums. People sometimes have problems logging on because they are using the wrong email or the wrong credentials, as you have to use the email associated with your wayfarer account. That is much more likely than them being banned from the forums.
