Guess the bible disagrees
Can everyone please take a breath as this is now going off topic.
The topic is about a suspension. There has been an exchange of information about that and a DM opened. I donāt think there is a need to discuss other topics in this thread.

Wayfarer allows Wayfinders to submit locations to be included in our games in order to share the local points of interest that define our communities. We believe that our cities and communities are healthier when people explore the sites that make the world unique, all while coming into contact with their communities and with one another.
Places of worship are perfect examples of a place the public can visit to discover more about and engage with their community. We have heard through a number of collaborations with locations similar to these, that PokƩmon GO has enhanced the visitor experience, and we work with these organizations to ensure the same.
Our intention is that all locations in the game are accessible and suitable for players and their communities. For this reason, we encourage our users to be safe and alert at all times, abide by posted rules and regulations, and respect the locations they visit and people they meet during their exploration.
Despite all these, if the property owners do not want in-App locations on their properties, they are welcome to reach out to us directly.
I hope this clarifies our stance.
Thanks,
No one is saying anyone should disturb a church. That would be rude. But having a PoI there should not disturb anyone if people play respectfully like decent humans would.
If the church doesnāt want a PoI, they can ask Niantic to remove it, but no one else needs to do so on their behalf
Please use the DM as I and @elijustrying mentioned earlier for the suspenstion and leave this topic be, as this doesnāt help you with your suspension.
Good luck
for promoting for religious movements and celebrations yes in app maybe good for it but promoting churches as a place to gather and play a game not even related to the place? can u really justify that instead of going there to attend mass, pray or any religious activity you go to attend raids? would that be against the very essence of going to a church. it a very different story boss. thats why im against it. and all of these u sent are niantic made guidelines and does not directly apply to all the people not playing niantic apps and the church or place of worship itself nor agreed upon by the people in-charge in those places. if u are familiar when you are inside a church or any area of worship and their grounds they also have rules like for example cellphones are commonly ask to be turned of etc. i know u get what i mean you are a very intelligent person based on your replies. remember going to places of worship makes us the visitor not owners where we must follow their rules not our ingame made up rules. making place of worship as a mark of oneās digital game already violates it in every way possible.
You know you donāt need to go inside the church to be able to interact with the Wayspot right?
Many players spinning the PokƩStop, planting as they pass the Big Flower by or smashing the crystals to get Monster Bone M or hacking the church Portal will never go inside the church to do this.
As Aaron said, if people are going in and acting how the church owners donāt want them to act, they can request for the church Wayspot to be removed. I donāt see the issue.
It doesnāt sound like you enjoy the game or wayfarer at all if you think its this bad. Maybe the suspension was for the best
Iām not a Christian, and Iām a Buddhist with little faith, but I think you, who wish for karma to punish those who treat others kindly, are the one most betraying your faith.
Can I please request that the discussion around churches etc is stopped.
It is an unnecessary distraction in my view.
If people wish to discuss further please start a new topic.
Thank you everyone for sharing your opinions. This discussion has veered of its intended path and as a result, Iāll be closing it from further engagement.
