  • Additional Information (if any): A generic hair cutting place can’t be a pokestop, can it? It’s not a place to socialise, people come there to get there hair cut. Also, I am unable to find this salon at this location. I can find a Hunk Salon in my city 10km away from this location.

This wayspot is an “import” that do not have to follow the usual wayfarer rules.

It would unlikely be accepted as a normal nomination but Scopely got a list of business addresses and used them.

Not existing is a valid reason to remove. Is it possible to visit the location and take images so they can see that it does not exist?

This is not 100% but imports do not usually have images attached.

There is an option to attach an image but most on the forums recommend that people don’t so it is more obvious it isn’t a community added wayspot.

it is better for most players if you do not upload photos for imported powerspots.

This way, it is easy to distinguish between imported powerspots (which will never become pokestops even if other wayspots are removed) and user-submitted powerspots (which could become pokestops if other wayspots are moved or removed).

There is a functional difference between these, but the best way to tell is from the lack of a photo and description for the imports. Giving the imports a photo erodes this distinction!

Oh, OK. Apologies, I msunderstood.

Streetview is not definitive, as there is only one pass from the google cars and it shows a business at this location with no name and the shutters down. It is plausible (even if unlikely) that this business is Hunk Professional Hair Cut Salon.

If you were able to take a photo of this business while it is open or with it having a name, showing that it isn’t Hunk Salon, that should be proof.

I can’t find this pokestop anymore. Even without it being solved.

This is not showing on the wayfarer map. Often, Scopely Explore take action following posts (removing or moving wayspots) and do not mark the post as solved or make any comment, so I see this as them silently correcting the issue (either because they made a mistake initially or because extra information has been provided).
