I appreciate that staff has allowed me to make a post explaining about S2 cells, and want to emphasize that this information is not to be misused. That would be abuse.
You might want to learn about s2 cells to prevent future dissappointment. But know that missplacement of wayspot submission into empty cell is subject to abuse ladder system

Our information is not fully up to date but we can try to explain.

If you feel comfortable can you provide the co-ordinates for your wayspot please. We can then try to see if we can see what has happened.
Yes I am aware of the cells. Here is the approximate coordinated of the said poi.

The information on this map is nearly 4 months out of date. It could be there is something else in that cell. The only reliable way is to visit the location and start the submission process. On the submission map you should see an orange pin for your wayspot - you can click to confirm.
The blue circles are pokestops/gyms. This should show if there are any nearby and you can see if they are in the same cell.
You’re checking the wrong location. You had submitted this Wayspot at 25.189434,51.498899 and it is live on the gameboard as a PokéStop.
