Hello, several of my Wayspot nominations were accepted, but they still have not appeared in Pokémon GO. Two of the accepted Wayspots are far away from existing PokéStops and gyms. Could someone please help check if there is a sync issue or another reason they are not appearing? Thank you.

If they were accepted in the past 72 hours, they may not have had time to appear in Pokemon Go.
If they were accepted longer ago than 72 hours, please post the coordinates and names so that they can be checked by the community.

I’ll let @elijustrying give you the visual, but they’re in already occupied level 17 S2 cells. The first one is blocked by the playground and the second is blocked by the swings.

Both of these are too close to pokestops/gyms to appear in game.
After a wayspot is accepted it has to go through a process where Pokémon Go decides whether to accept.

In short only 1 place within the boxes in the images can be a stop or gym.
There is the possibility that these could be in the rotation of powerspots
How were you seeing that they are far away from existing Pokestops and gyms?
The only reliable map is Niantic Wayfarer. Anything else such as pogomap can be out-of-date and inaccurate. (Even the official map can take a little while to update, but only a day or two.)

We are not allowed to share the link to the third party tools that let you see the S2 cells, but if you search for “wayfarer tools” you should be able to find them. The trusted site will have a link to the Wayfarer Discussion Discord, where you can ask for help with them if you need it.
