Hello,
I have two nominations that were accepted in Wayfarer, but they have not appeared in any game (neither Pokémon GO nor Ingress) for more than two weeks.
Rue Roger Salengro – Vigneux-sur-Seine
Status: Accepted (2026-01-22)
Wayfarer pin location: 48.703211, 2.438088
Real-world sign location: 48.703190, 2.438353
Panneau du Centre Culturel Prairie d’Oly
Status: Accepted (2026-01-25)
Wayfarer pin location: 48.703038, 2.437985
Real-world sign location: 48.703047, 2.437982
Nearby, the Wayspot “Affichage libre – quartier Mocquet-Castors-Lafayette” is already live in-game (PokéStop / Portal).
Could you please check why these two accepted nominations are not becoming live in the games?
Thank you!
Good day and welcome to the forum!
Please read this article about how Pokemon GO utilizes Wayfarer data: https://pokemongohub.net/post/article/comprehensive-guide-s2-cells-pokemon-go/
It appears that the real world location of this sign is closer to the rotunda, not in the coordinates provided. You can request location edits via the help chat if this is inaccurate. Note the location guidelines:
-
Place the pin at the real life location of the object you are nominating
The Ingress map has discontinued sync with the one Wayfarer and PGO uses. Ingress Last Sync Announcement
I haven’t read the rest yet but please note the maps split back in May 2025. If you want a nomination to be considered for inclusion in Ingress, you need to nominate it in Ingress and use Recon. If you want to submit to appear in Pokémon GO (and possibly be used by Pikmin Bloom and Monster Hunter Now) you need to submit either on Pokémon GO or the Wayfarer web submit. It would still need to meet Pokémon GO’s inclusion rules.
Thanks for the clarification about the Ingress/Wayfarer map split. My main goal is Pokémon GO.
For “Rue Roger Salengro – Vigneux-sur-Seine”, the pin might indeed be slightly off. The real-world sign is located at 48.703190, 2.438353 (the current accepted pin shows 48.703211, 2.438088). I will request a location edit via the Wayfarer help chat and provide on-site photos.
For “Panneau du Centre Culturel Prairie d’Oly”, the accepted pin (48.703038, 2.437985) matches the real location (48.703047, 2.437982, ~1m). If it still doesn’t appear in Pokémon GO, is it likely due to Pokémon GO density/S2 cell rules?
The bramble on the current image is the same as the one near the roundabout.
Idk about the location issue. The sign has been posted there since 2008 via older Streetview. Please make sure your edit is accurate as misplacement for gameboard reasons can be seen as abusive.
Yes, that is the observed behavior.
For future reference, regular street signs are not eligible
