Hi, I have been suspended for the wayspot for these reasons
Misplacement of wayspot submissions

But the wayspot was correctly allocated, its doesnt have abusive content, to the best of my knowledge

Thank you

The Wayfarer Team
The location coordinates should be there in the confirmation email you would have received while submitting the nomination. You can take screenshots from Wayfarer contribution management page if you can access it.
This is available from the confirmation email, while the wayfarer website has a google maps image, which will work as an alternative.(as @Mystogan5097 just pointed out).
Wayfarer sends out a confirmation email for every submission, so please check your spam/deleted folder etc.
The email comes from notices@wayfarer.nianticlabs.com with a subject of “Thanks! Niantic Wayspot nomination received for [XXXX]”
The address points to a different building away from the fountain. In that case, the sanction seems valid. Having said that, it’s really difficult to say for sure.
@NianticAaron has repeatedly answered such queries here. I hope he is able to clear the air for you. All the best!
Without seeing your supporting photo, it’s hard to be sure where that fountain is. It’s very likely to be in a private garden, such as the yellowing corner building in your google maps image, but it definitely isn’t where your wayspot marker is.
Sorry, I’m going to be harsh.
As far as this image is concerned, the location is specified by being shifted beyond the line used in the inclusive rule from where the object is originally located. I believe the team made the right decision.
From the information available, it does look like a case of misplacement to get a spot. But like I said earlier, we cannot be sure unless we have the exact coordinates.
The Wayspot has to be on top of the object. I’m just another player like you. I was just trying to help you with information. It’s not upto me to reconsider it. You can request the staff to reconsider it here or through an appeal.
Uh, distance is irrelevant.
Submitting it in a misaligned position is not acceptable, but the difference is whether it is intentional or negligent. I would judge this one point as intentional, but the team should not have judged it as intentional after just one mistake. Sorry to be skeptical, but have you ever done anything else similar?
