I had submitted a waystop for a local gym, open to all people and ages, so thought it was a perfect place for a waystop. I sent my submission on 8/15/25 and recently, yesterday (9/23) got a rejection for it being labeled as “offensive” and “ridiculing a class of people (?)” and was very confused. I assumed this was a mistake and submitted an appeal since nothing about the description, location, or picture, was offensive. Today, 9/24, I received an email acknowledging the mistake and accepting the nomination but a few minutes later, got a litany of emails with warnings and strikes about abusing the wayfarer system, as well as a pop up that keeps coming up that if i continue this, i will be suspended. I am very confused on how this is happening and would like to either know what i am doing wrong or have this strike removed.
I am using an IPhone 16e as well and have my app up to date. Thank you all.
That original text string about harrassment is just what shows when a nomination has been flagged for abuse. Often the actual reason it was flagged has nothing to do with the text, but something else like using a third party photo or widely misplacing a pin.
One of the emails should have mentioned an example nomination with a clearer violation reason. Was it for certain this nomination?

thank you cindie! appreciate the help. i had gotten an additional email about “misplacement of wayspot submission” but even upon review of that, the spot from the submission could not be more than, so 20 ft or a few meters off from the exact spot on google maps as well.
I suggest that you take this as a “free warning” and take more care in future.
20 feet is quite the error. You should check carefully in the nominating process and then recheck once it goes to wayfarer. Nominations can be withdrawn by yourself if errors are found.
