Hello can anyone please explain or review why all my nominations now are under “in vote by Niantic” (yes, all)
Really would like to know if iam did something wrong without knowledge or if it is a bug or or or, actually it seems like AI driven decision´s
Bug Reports should include the following and any additional information you feel is necessary to aid in the investigation of the bug.
- Description of the issue
- Date first (or most recently) experienced
- Device type, model, and operating system
- Game & Game Version (if applicable)
This sort of happened to me last week. I put 6 nominations in. 2 were auto approved by Emily, 4 all went to Niantic voting.
Someone here said it’s likely to do with further development of the ML model.
All of mine were approved by Niantic anyway!

Hm, interessting.
Unfortunately it seems to me like AI denied the nomination because a human comparison and thus a precise decision is missing. There are similar POI being accepted, so there should be no reason why …
i need to ge used to this forum, also confusing…
working-as-intended
@NianticAaron could you please, kindly explain a little bit more… do i need to worry, is it really human … what is going on, thank you very(!) much
Niantic chooses nominations to be reviewed internally for various reasons. While it’s not possible for me to provide all the internal mechanics, this is standard practice. As long as the submissions do not violate any policies, there is nothing to worry.

@NianticAaron thank you
BUT
Why does it seems to be AI or at least superficially evaluated?
The path markings are the same as hiking signposts and can be found on normal hiking maps, and are also placed at significant locations
Humans should be able to identify this also by reading the description.
Another nomination POI already existing on other locations, that is frustrating.
@NianticAaron
it turned back to normal, all my open nominations are not any more under review by niantic, so i guess it was not planned at all like this, maybe not a bug but also not “intended/normal”.
Emily “killed” 4 of my nomination, 2 of them i already resubmitted, other 2 iam right now not able to. Is there any chance to get them back into “waiting queue” manually?
Thanks for feedback

This is a possibility. We select nominations quasi randomly for in-house reviews. This is working as intended.
