Appeal: Incorrect Pokemon Go Account Ban - Requesting Manual Review

Hello,
I am requesting a new review of the enforcement action on my Pokémon GO account.

I previously contacted support at the end of last year, but the decision I received was incorrect. The action taken does not match my actual gameplay, and I have always followed the Terms of Service.

I have never used any third‑party tools, location manipulation, or other prohibited methods. This seems to be the result of an incorrect automated detection.

I respectfully ask for a manual review of my account and the evidence used in this case.

I’m sorry to hear of your suspension. Have you received and reviewed the emails that came with it? They should come with reason(s) for the suspension. Knowing that can help you reach back to them and appeal.

And just to let you know, the automated system does not do suspensions. Niantic Scopely employees review all suspensions before they go out.

Last but not least , you will get 3 emails if the suspension is from Wayfarer. I believe games (Pokemon Go, etc) will only send one if it’s from them.

There should be a way to appeal through the emails. That would get you the manual review.

Yes, I used the appeal option in the emails. I waited more than three weeks for a response, but I never received any reply so I tried this website & hoping for more help.

Can you share the details of the nomination that you were flagged for. It should be in your confirmation email from when you nominated it.

We may be able to see what went wrong. Though if it’s already been 3 weeks you don’t have much time left on a 30 day suspension.

But at this point employers have already reviewed it twice. I’m not sure there is much we can do for you here.

I see that NianticAaron did start up a DM conversation about this with you a few weeks ago. I hope he was able to give you more details.

But I’m concerned that you haven’t heard back from the appeal team. Are you sure this is accurate? Maybe an email got missed?

I understand that there are only a few days left, but I’m mainly concerned about the principle and that these problems don’t happen to me or other users. I don’t want bans to be given for misunderstandings and mistakes that are definitely not intentional and can happen to anyone. Unfortunately, once a person gets banned in the game, they can’t get rid of that record.

I checked all the emails I received, but none of them included any details about the specific nomination that was flagged. I only received the standard suspension notices.

If you need the nomination to understand what went wrong, I can share whatever information I have — but I genuinely don’t know which one it was. That’s also why I reached out through the appeal link in the emails.

The 4th screenshot mentions Wellness Böhmova as the wayspot, so that is one that was involved in this case.

you can have your previous offence forgiven after one year. If you share full screenshot of submission email for that wayspot, we can check if there is anything wrong (you can opt to wait for staff to come and initiate DM)

Just to make sure you appealed by using the Contact Us link from the second photo?

Udělal jsem to, ale od teď zákaz končí. However, I don’t want these errors (how Wayfarer evaluates nominations by giving bans) to continue to appear, and if someone were to get banned, it would be truly justified.

When you posted on receipt of the suspension @NianticAaron started a DM

This gave you the opportunity for an explanation.

This recent post indicates that you don’t accept that you did anything wrong. You need to accept that the suspension was issued and reviewed and found to have been correctly done, which means that you had made wrong submission(s).
The 30 day suspension should be a time to reflect on your practice, realise that you need to change and follow the rules. If you have not reached that point and don’t change you risk further suspension.
