Oh yes I forgot there is a second sign on the trail for the same tree type. They are diffierent as you can see from the main photo, with one being in the wooded area, and one being found out in the open
They are different (but otherwise identical) signs. The existing one has a load of foliage behind it whilst the one that is being rejected as a duplicate here is in the middle of a grassy area, so clearly not the same location.
I do see why this was rejected as duplicate, but I don’t know if that precludes the second instance of the same sign being accepted. Possibly submit a title edit for the existing one making it unique and resubmit the rejected one with a title that makes it unique. I would only submit this again if there is truly a compelling reason to visit this particular tree as well as that tree. One is in the woods and one is in the open - why is that? Maybe this tree is a varietal that is special. Maybe this tree is an experiment to show the difference in how they grow in different situations. idk but that is the kind of thing to look for, make them unique and uniquely interesting.
Thanks for that advice. Compeltely forgot same titles can result in duplicates even if they are different. And yes basically they are slight varitations of the same tree, due to their surrounding environment. Located on the grounds of a former manor which is now a public park so all the trees are over 100 years old, so changes due to the environment are very evident
