Approved pokestop not populated yet

The stop was approved on Oct 16th and still hasn’t been populated. Can I get some help please?

Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

This post explains the most likely issue:

The tldr version: if it has been more than 48 hours then it is probably in a occupied cell and ineligible to be a Pokestop or gym.

The submission process in Pokemon Go is a little misleading because it makes you think you are submitting a pokestop. You are actually submitting a wayspot that, if accepted, will be added to the wayfarer database. Niantic then use this database to decide what will be shown in Pokemon Go (and other games). Not every wayspot will appear in Pokemon Go.

Are you sure it was approved on Oct 16th? What you see in the email you shared is the submission date, and same-day community approvals, while not unheard of, are relatively rare due to the ML process needing to run ~22-24h after submission.

Just trying to exclude the possibility in which it has yet to sync - with the most likely reason still being what is shared in the comments above.

Yeah, not that you mention it, it does look like there wasn’t technically an approval and is most likely still under review.

Thanks for the clarity on that.

Ah! Ok!
So the nomination was the 16th and I got the acceptance letter on the 18th!

It’s was officially approved.

If you look at the screenshot, the date of the email is the 18th and the submission was the 16th

You need to re-read the paragraph that starts “Remember that not all nominations…”.

The most likely reason is occupied S2 Cells as explained in the link posted by @cyndiepooh above.

There’s no doubt that it was approved - I just wanted to know when that email had arrived so we could exclude it still having to sync in.

Check the first comment, it explains everything. We can try looking into what it is blocked by if you share the coordinates from your submission email.
