Are local hotels and suites allowed?

Hotels may be allowed, as long as they are locally owned and have something else that makes them unique, like being in a historic building or having unique architecture. Most hotels are owned by large chains these days, so smaller locally owned hotels are more rare.

I really don’t see much in this hotel, other than maybe the architecture. It actually comes back as a holiday vacation rental when searching for it online, and this is their website:

The main selling point seems to be that they offer great views of the bay of Fethiye. It would be a hard sell to me, especially since I can’t find them offering anything other than rooms to rent; doesn’t seem to be a pool or fitness center on the grounds.

As for the advertising, this is typically only allowed if it’s for a shopping center, as the signage may be a good place for people to meet up and be social, and there may be shops there to explore. It may also be a good place marker for the entire shopping center, especially if there are a good deal of businesses there that don’t meet criteria, like chain stores, banks, etc.

This signage just looks like it’s for a few different travel/tourism businesses, which are pretty generic and indistinct.
