So no tastings yet but they no sell flights. It is a great place to hang, we just had my brothers birthday there a few weeks ago family, friends, kids and pets. Not much shade if you are outside though. Also, only like 100 yard up the hill is “61 Vineyard”…they have tastings…AND A POKESTOP, lol!
It sounds like a really cool place. Did you mention that you can hold parties there for the whole family in your previous nominations? I forget. I know you tried almost everything already!! So you probably did
Every single nomination I make goes into hold for some time, often quite a while as I procrastinate on writing text though sometimes just a day or two. Recently ML has been pulling lots of mine as I take them off hold so I don’t think this theory is correct.

It was from a couple months ago, and I know things are changing all the time… so maybe (if it ever worked) it doesnt work anymore
I’m unsure of any other theories on how to avoid the ML, and really why it’s so dead set against this nomination, since in the UK we have a lot of these kinds of waypoints so it must have seen those too…
I’m concerned that the ML may have learned to double-down on its position regarding things it has already decided against. I rather think this would be a normal way for it to work: similar things have been rejected there before (sign, brewery, masonry) so any new nomination that resembles these is easier to reject again.
Perhaps the solution is simply wait a while for machine to learn better?
I hope the staff keep an eye on this issue, before Emily turns into the nomination-terminator.

I’m so frustrated. I’ve submited just about everything unique on the property of this brewery at “28810 Kemptown Rd, Damascus, MD 20872, USA” and it all gets REJECTED about a day later. Lot of the reasons are just “Wayfarer Criteria” I feel like a bot is incorrectly rejecting my nominations cause it thinks the brewery is a farm. The Wayfarer Help Chat is ZERO HELP. Is there are topic on this forum that HUMAN admins might look at? It sucks cause the owners play Pokemon Go and where really exicted and appreciative I was nominating the brewery for a Pokestop. All I really have left to nominate is their Restroom building, picinic tables, and there beer list.

I understand the disappointment! I would start appealing one/some of the unique items at the brewery. That can do a couple of things. One it can help train the ML if that has been incorrectly rejecting these nominations. Two - if they are still rejected on appeal you can bring them to the forum Appeals section for another look. That can be very helpful.
I believe @cyndiepooh has some good tips for how to write up appeals.
And whatever you do - Don’t nominate bathrooms! That is straight up coal (extremely bad and ineligible nomination).
I believe that there are eligible items as part of the brewery so fingers crossed we can help with the appeals.
It might be a good idea to start posting your draft nominations and appeals in the Nomination Support channel.

Ok, those are great tips, I’ll do both. Thanks! I know the “Silo” is the best one I have and the brewery is in the process of building a newer permanent signage on the outside I’m waiting for. I was thinking about submitting the picnic table area next to their porch sitting area, I’ll probably post that one in the appeals forum to see what people think.

If you haven’t submitted the picnic tables put them in the Nomination Support first. That way folks can help you write it up. The Appeals area is just for ones that have already been rejected.
