Just sharing a story.
A couple of months back, I edited the description for an installation piece named “Go”.
It is a geodesic like shell with disks on it that can be turned, black on one side, white on the other. (Hence the name of the piece.)
Now, one side of the disks have questions to think about, and I took a photo of one:
What is dark matter?
When I expanded the description, I got confused and wrote “questions etched onto the black side”. Because, well “dark” was stuck in my head. Oops.
Now, getting an edit through that would change that to “questions etched onto the white side” simply wasn’t going to work. There was no context, and reviewers only get to see the main image (which was not mine).
The other day that particular change finally came to the top of my personal queue of edits to appeal, and it got approved a little bit ago.
This might have gone a bit more smoothly if reviewers had the ability to see ALL of the pictures associated with a wayspot and not just the current primary one. But all is good now.
