Hello, folks. Emily has rejected this wayspot twice for wayfarer criteria. It’s just a painting on a public parking garage door that imitates a vault door, but obviously it’s not a vault door. Assuming the titles I suggested (Vault Door Drawing and “Strong Door” Drawing) are the culprits, does anyone have any insights on how to properly name it?
That rejection reason means it was rejected by AI. Another clue is that your rejection email said “our team has decided”, instead of “the community has decided”.
I would use “Mural” in the title (I don’t know its translation).
AI may have rejected thinking that “portao” is an attempt to make a game reference. (Ingress wayspots are called portals.)
I think that the ML model does not recognize the photo as anything it knows to be eligible. I think that you need to back out a little on the photo and give a little more context to the mural so that the ai “sees” a work of art. This may be one that you have to appeal if that doesn’t work.
I will try taking a new photo with more “background” things and see if that works, since I have other rejections to appeal and don’t want to waste one on this just yet. Thank you!
It seems that you were right. I ended up using the same photo just to give it a new try, but changed the wording for synonyms of “portão” (gate) and it passed through the AI system. It is now in voting. I’m glad I came here and didn’t had to waste an appeal. Thanks!
