As title says, I didn’t get to pick my locations as my internet died during the account setup. Next time I logged in, I found out that Wayfarer picked both for me automatically. I’m satisfied with my Home but is there a way to change my Bonus Location without waiting for a full year?
In spite of what it says you can now change several times a year so it’s not locked for too long.

@Mornya I have reset your Bonus location as a goodwill gesture. You should now be able to set it to a location of your choice.

Just as a side note to this,I know where your coming from @Mornya as while my internet didn’t die during setup my browser froze when amending my home location and my bonus location.
Support told me the same as @elijustrying about changing the bonus location up to 4 times a year yet on my side it’s locked for the whole year and they wouldn’t do anything to help.
Now my home location was off by around 100 meters and when I moved the pin to my correct location and pressed save the pin bounced back to the original location and then permanently locked.
So feel highly honoured in the fact that @NianticAaron did this for you.

It says this on the page but it is inaccurate. Typically it is unlocked when we have a Wayfarer Challenge once per quarter, so you’ll be able to change it when that comes around again.
Even when we have had no Challenge, the ability to move bonus location is still unlocked every 3 months or so for all users.
Good to know @PkmnTrainerJ I’ve actually got that Wayfarer Challenge toggle turned on in the settings but I haven’t seen anything yet.
Thinking about it 4 times a year plus a challenge every quarter would make sense as to how it unlocks.
It’s a shame they don’t amend the text from time to time to reflect this on the system and keep things accurate.
This distance will not make any difference to the reviews you get.
@NianticAaron I know that but when like me you like to nitpick over typos and minor things not being accurate I sometimes think I have a form of OCD and things have to be perfect to my way of thinking and trust me I’m not perfect.
I’ve set my bonus location in a valley where for me and many others there’s no phone or data signal except 1 specific network so if a review comes through from down there I’m hopeful it hits me as that valley is quite isolated but very busy business wise.
Does this mean you want to change your Bonus Location?
