At first, my first nomination was a park which I live close to, when i took the second picture i didint notice that there was someone at the corner of it, and some people very far away, but im afraid the bot that checks this marks as rejection criteria, and possibly a warning because ive been told this wayfarer thing is so severe. Ive been using this for 5 days and the bug started that same day when i wanted to edit it, I took the photo from an Iphone. Honestly i dont know what to do more than hope they never check that contribution cause i cant do anything abt it.
You should disable the “Automatically Apply Upgrades” in the settings so it doesn’t happen, because when it is enabled (and it is by default) it upgrades the first submission you have in the queue instead of you chosing which submission will have it.
About the picture, there is no problem with people in the supporting information photos.
I don’t see anything wrong with this photo being included in your submission, especially as the supporting photo. The people are way in the background, not a focus of the photo at all, and don’t seem to be recognizable even in the full downloaded resolution. Unless there’s something else I’m not seeing, I don’t think you have to worry about any abuse accusations or warnings.
Congratulations on posting a 3rd party image on a Niantic Run forum and claiming you have taken it. If it turns out that you took the photo for Wayfarer, I would like to know how they got hold of the image?
Oof that really changes things! I didn’t look any further than what was originally posted. And then adding in the K12 issue… I can understand the concern about a warning now!
Yeah thats the reason i wanted to retreat it in second place, since at the time, I did not know about the 3rd party thing (it was my first submission) and when i got experience I figured it was such a bad idea.
For the record, the iphone photo is the want I want to change for that one, or just remove the nomi. Ah and the K-12 thing is not as it looks like, that photo is from like 4+ years ago, at this time, that k-12 its a school separated from a cambridge assesment 18+ center, (public ofc) but those photos are ancient. If you guys know anyone who can destroy the nomination that could be a huge help or allow me to change it for the new photo, also thanks for the replies

I wanna take it down just as you guys, since it violates like half of the terms and right, i just didint know at the beginning, if i gotta tank a warning then thats about right, but i figured id get at least some kind of opportunity to fix it just because it was the first time.
