Good morning! I’m wondering why my nomination got rejected. It’s a community food bank located at a church. This is my first submission and I’m very new to trying to contribute. Please advise and thank you.
I believe it’s now lost in the mist of the now-retired old forums but Niantic previously clarified that these were to be considered “sensitive locations” and don’t meet any of the 3 criteria. They have a different focus than book exchanges or other kinds of sharing libraries. Unfortunately for these reason there’s nothing you can do here, perhaps the church grounds have something else which is eligible such as a sports field, picnic area, playground, etc.

There was just a post in yesterday suggesting something about this be added to the Criteria Clarification Collection
fyi that “Wayfarer criteria” rejection means that this was a decision by the ML (machine learning ai) model. That will have come about 20-24 hours after the nomination was made, and the email will say “our team” instead of the community.
