Please explain what doesn’t make sense.

You are stating because people would meet at a definable location place or thing it’s a landmark or is worth of being a stop. Guidelines state that is not justification for being a stop from my understanding.

There are famous rocks and rock formations in parks that people pay to see and I would imagine are stops. So the community disagrees that large rocks aren’t landmarks.

You can use anything to meetup before doing anything in the game. As said a rock can also qualify as a meeting spot, but that doesn’t mean it should get accepted. Provide clear evidence with links or articles why you think this is better and eligible otherwise people will question you for a while.

This is totally true. The person is not providing clear evidence and tries to promote it as a spot, which anything can do. Let’s rest if for now until they provide clear evidence. Otherwise you can keep going for hours.

Honestly I don’t care which way this issue goes I just want to know the guidelines and clarification. The issue is people defend these most likely for their own connivence, the live within spin distance or required to leave neighborhood.

Like I said I don’t agree with everything that has been determined to be appropriate but how I feel doesn’t matter once a decision is made known.

My community uses these to assemble before going for raids. That’s a social feature for me. It’s your right to disagree and downvote if you don’t agree.

How you use the signs does not make them meet criteria. They were not created as a place to assemble to do raids in Pokemon Go.

Because people choose to look at it this way is why there need to be clarification to prevent this from continuing.

Also wayfarer does remove poke spots, it’s niantic employees that deal with appeals.

I just want the game to work as intended and I’m glad that if conversations like this are reviewed both points will be considered.
