I recently received a review for a Restaurant, everything looked great until…

  • Google Maps stated “Permanently Closed”.
  • A local news article stating that it had closed due to retirement.
  • A “For Sale” sign could be seen on Street View.
  • Part of the “For Sale” sign could be seen on the Main Photo.

I decided to use the “Permanent and Distinct” rejection, can’t be Permanent if it has closed down but wondered what option others would use.

Depending on the wording, I might have selected accuracy, title and description and written the free text box that it was closed.
It can’t have been accurate to say it was functioning as a business.
