Creating pokestops

Hello,

As mentioned, please be respectful, even with your rants. There are actually many disabled players/Wayfarers, so you’re not the only one to have issues. I know there are Wayfarers have tried to create Wayspots at their own homes because they are disabled, but Wayspots aren’t allowed on single family private property, so it’s ineligible.

A place for children to get picked up for school wouldn’t be eligible, unfortunately. It would be considered a K-12 school location, as children under the age of 18 may be there frequently without supervision. K-12 schools, child care centers, day cares, and other locations cannot be accepted for safety reasons and to protect the children.

As far as a tree becoming a Wayspot, there are only a few instances where that would be acceptable, such as if it has a educational sign about the tree species, or may be a historically important tree to the community.

As for finding eligible places, you may want to take a look at the Wayfarer criteria again, as well as the tips for rural nominations thread. Both have a great deal of information in regards to what to look for and submit.
