Additional Information (if any): The portal still exists and it was wrongfully removed. I would like for you to put it back in the game and punish who ever summited it as non existent
I would suggest not speculating as to who or which group of users requested the removal of your wayspot as you really don’t know for sure. Niantic have been removing certain types of Graffiti from various locations as they could be deemed as vandalism, in the sense that they are not commissioned art or art that is santioned by the local council (e.g. graffiti walls, etc that are funded by the tax payers for the use of posting art).
I suspect that this won’t get readded, but look forward to seeing the response from Niantic.
I recently submitted a request to restore the portal ”Hook Julinac” because it still physically exists and meets all the criteria for Wayfarer nominations. However, my request was denied without a specific reason.
Could you please clarify why my request was rejected and what the specific reasons were for this decision? Additionally, I would like to know what further evidence I can provide to better confirm the existence and eligibility of this portal. I am willing to submit new photos, additional location details, or any other relevant evidence that could help in reconsidering this case.
Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your response.
As @P1dg3ySlayer explained, Niantic have been removing graffiti based wayspots for being low quality nominations. Graffiti is often vandalism. You can read a bit more of a clarification below:
