An entire block/building were demolished affecting a Pokestop and a gym. These areas should now be considered unsafe and unaccessible to Pokemon GO players and removed from the game.
Wayspot Title: 1) H23 - Raleigh and Gaston Railroad (Gym) 2) NC Bath Building (Pokestop)
Location (lat/lon): 35.7842209, -78.6375159
City: Raleigh, NC

Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information): both are generic “Niantic has decided that your report will be rejected. Any changes based on reports take up to 48 hours to be reflected in Niantic products that use this location. Note that not all available locations are used across all Niantic games.”
Additional Information (if any): A drone video showing demolition of the building earlier this year and a news story about the demolition from April 2025. Below are attached current photos of the unsafe demolition site
You can request removal of Wayspots in a construction area at the following link:
Even though this says it’s for abuse, this would fall under Fake nominations or criteria issues since they are unsafe to access.
The Wayspot Appeals thread is to appeal a rejected removal request or to ask for a removed Wayspot to be restored, not to request removal of an area that is under construction or you can’t request removal for in-game.
Thank you, I submitted through that link you provided.
Within the Pokemon GO App, there is an option to select “unsafe access” in the “Report PokeStop Issue” menu on an actual stop. That is the process I originally went through. It would be helpful if in-game there was a link to what you provided or if the report submitted would trigger that process instead of the automated emails I received that led me to here.
In-game, you have to be at the Wayspot in order to submit it for removal, so if you can’t, you can always use the link provided.
I don’t think Wayfarer will be changing the removal process in-game anytime soon, although they recently added a feature to take/upload a photo to show proof for removal, which is quite helpful.
