I made a couple of pokestops of bus stops because in a town next to me and all over i see pokestops for bus stops so i decided to make a couple but they all got rejected like why and i made a pokestop for a playground cause i also saw in the same town a pokestop for a playground and it also got rejected i also made a pokestop for a basketball court a soccer field and for a synagauge and i hope they accept them because there’s literally an option when you make the pokestop and it asks you what category it is there are literally options for a soccer field and a basketball court so they should get accepted and if they don’t then can someone please tell me what i did wrong or is it just that it’s an AI that’s accepting or rejecting it so can someone please tell me what i did wrong?
or maybe can someone tell me how to fix what i did wrong to have them accept it? (if i did do something wrong)
Hi and welcome! The bus stop pokestops you are seeing are imported, they aren’t acceptable user submissions. The other things you name seem eligible, unless they are on school property etc. Could we see some of your submissions to help you please?
also i think that my town is the only place in the world to not have at least one pokestop (not including china cause it’s banned there)
If you share your general location we might be able to suggest something
There may have been issues with your submission of the playground.
In order to be accepted, a wayspot has to not fail any of the rejection criteria
- it has to be safely accessible to pedestrians
- it can’t be on school grounds, single-family private residential property, farmland
- it has to exist at the location given
- it has to have a reasonably accurate title and description
- the photo cannot contain licence plates, identifiable people, unnecessary animals
It also has to meet one of the key criteria
- Exploration
- Exercise
- Social
it’s safe for pedestrians, it’s not on school grounds single-family private residential property or farmland it’s at the location given it has a title called playground eliav (but it’s in hebrew so i don’t know if that changes anything) it doesn’t have licence plates, it doesn’t have any identifiable people and it doesn’t have any unnecessary animals unless the person/AI thinks that the riding horse made out of material is an animal and it is social and exercise so yeah
general like the country or the city it’s next to or the place it is in like the town cause the country is israel the city it’s closest to is kiryat gat and the town it’s in is eliav
If you want to post the full details of the submission, you would be able to get better advice as to anything that might have caused rejection. Sometimes, rejections are incorrect and sometimes the submitter cannot see the problem but others can.
- title, description, supporting text, main photo, supporting photo(s),
- co-ordinates (which are below the last photo in the submission receipt email)
title for which i did 8
im just trying to get at least one pokestop for my town so that me and my friend (the only people in our town that play pokemon go) can get rewards and stuff without having to walk/drive to get a measly couple of pokestops, and the only times that we get to spin pokestops not including the once a week time that we go somewhere with four pokestops is when we go to school and even then because the bus is going to fast we almost never are able to spin enough pokestops to even get to 30 pokeballs so i just want me and my friend to have some pokestops in the one place in the entire world that doesn’t even have pokestops not including china since it’s banned there
i just got another rejectionnnnn
is the reason that they’re all getting rejected because the titles and descriptions are in hebrew?
How quickly do the rejections happen after you submit them?
Does the email say “our team” or “the community” made the decision to reject?
it happens about 23-25 hours later and it says our TEAM made the decision to reject
Yeah, so that is the Machine Learning bot rejecting your submissions.
- It looks like you take many of your photos at night. That is not ideal. Try to take them in better daylight.
- You need to find an object that represents the submission and center it in the photo.
Here’s an example of one of my photos for a basketball hoop taken from behind the goal like you did. Notice that the goal is centered and the lighting makes it very obvious what I’m submitting. I even framed a few balls in the front of the image.
I don’t have many examples of soccer/football submissions that are just the goal - mine usually have a sign that features the name or number of the field.
And for the third one, I don’t know what you are submitting. The main focus of the image appears to be a set of stairs but those would not be eligible.
No. All languages are accepted. Its likley there is an issue with the picture or the placement. If you give us a gps point of the nomination we can help. The point would be in the email you recieved when you made the submission.
