Hello good afternoon, I need help requesting a pokestop, I have already requested several, but none were accepted.
Hello and welcome,
It would be helpful to see the full nominations, not just a screenshot of the Contribution Management list, as this may help us better understand what you are trying to nominate.
I will note from this list that JR Fabrica de Laje is coming back as a building material store when searching Google, and this would be seen as a generic business to most. It’s hard to see how a building material store is a great place to be social, to exercise, and/or explore, which all nominations must meet one of these.
Feel free to review the Wayspot Criteria to get a better idea of what may or may not be eligible. You may also want to check out the Criteria Clarification Collection for some of the most common Wayspot categories.
We need to see the entire nomination, not just the photos. This includes the titles, descriptions, photos, location, and supporting info.
However, the 1st photo just seems to be of some flowers, and natural features typically aren’t eligible. While gardens may be elgiible, the type is important. Botanical gardens allow one to learn about plants (great place to explore) and community gardens allow the community to come together to grow food together (great place to socialize and possibly explore).
The Jesus looks like vandalism, not an actually piece of art. More info on this can be found here:
Street signs are typically seen as infrastructure and indistinct. Even if this is at a street crossing, like the title seems to suggest, street crossings are pretty generic all around the world.
I have no idea where the painting of the sun is located, so I can say whether or not it’s eligible. There are ineligible locations, such as single family private residential properties, K-12 schools, just to name a few. This is why knowing the location is important.
The last one just looks like some trees and bushes, some landscaping, which is also indistinct and most likely fall under being natural features, which again are typically not eligible.
Keep in mind that if you do see similar Wayspots in the games currently that doesn’t mean that POIs that are similar are still eligible to be submitted. Criteria does change from time to time, so what once may have been eligible may no longer be.
This is a great topic to read to get you started on the right path:
Será que o desenho desse sol feito em um portĂŁo de um condomĂnio pode ser aceito como pokestop ?

you hit reply too soon on these so we don’t see the picture. can you try again, but wait until you see it?
If there is a plaque talking about the plant, then that is more likely to be considered permanent than the plant is.
i don’t have a strong feeling either way about the sun drawing. it is cute, but is not something i would submit. i feel like the “automated process” - the machine learning ai - probably rejected it as graffiti, which it is not. but is it art? and is the gate a safe place to stand as a pedestrian? idk about this.
On the temple one, i can’t see your thumbnail very well, but i found a very similar photo on Google Maps
If you used a photo that you found online, that is a third party photo rejection. Continuing to use third party photos can get you a warning or ban.
If you took the photo yourself, don’t add it to Google Maps. An extremely tilted photo is also reason to reject it. I would recommend you take photos first, straighten or crop them as needed, then choose the “use existing” option for the photo when making your nomination.
The store one is just a “generic business” and you should not resubmit that one unless there is something very unique about it that promotes exercise, exploration or being social - those are the core criteria.
If you live somewhere that Niantic has imported game locations, these criteria issues can be really confusing, since a lot of the imports do not meet criteria, and you can’t just submit similar items.
i would not try to submit either of these businesses. @BlameJamal has been able to nominate at least one barbershop successfully, but he had a great statement on how the one I saw met social criteria. to me, these are most likely just a place to go for services, not a place that meets any of the criteria of a place to be social, exercise, or explore.
