Have you tried waiting for the toggle to appear in these deadzones? I have experienced the same and it takes a long while for the left toggle to appear even when the other buttons have shown.

Yes we have tried waiting a bit - a friend lives in one of the apartments next to the park that’s the dead zone, last night she put the phone on charge and loaded the nomination screen, went for a shower and 20 minutes later still no toggle option.
