The last photo is a commemorative photo of enthusiastic Wayfarer enthusiasts and Pokémon GO community ambassadors from all over Japan who participated in the Wayfarer party hosted by me. It was a really fun day that embodied the exchange of eating and drinking together, which is the philosophy of Wayfarer. I hope that one day I will be able to interact with everyone here in real life. That was the on-site report.

For clarity, those small back packs shown above are exclusive to Japan. Paris and NJ will get a different item at that badge level.

Is it true that someone is talking on an BBS about a panel display at the Wayfarer booth at this year’s Expo '70 Commemorative Park, in which staff members strolled around the park to introduce unregistered locations that could become Wayspots? The panel featured a multi-story pedestrian bridge, a manhole cover with a standard design, and a sign for Seria, a major one-can-shop grocery store, but he said it was put away because the wind blew it away and the panel was covered in mud. Another person spoke up during that discussion and said that an Arabic restaurant was also featured. There are several Seria stores around the park, but the nearest one is a 30-minute walk away, and there are about five others, but they all take an hour to walk. I wonder if they actually have such panel displays.

Thank you. I was sure it was a lie by the abusers, but they always go around in circles calling the person who pointed out the lie a liar when they are the one who lied, no matter how much I go there and point out that there was no such thing. So I asked the question because I thought it was important to leave a clear answer official. I also plan to visit during my own park time. I do not speak English but I look forward to meeting you all.

Unfortunately the requirement to pick up swag during your park play session is not something we are able to change. Similar to previous years, this is specifically implemented to prevent people from collecting swag on multiple days.

According to Mr. Kit’s clarification, it seems that park tickets are required to prevent receiving two swags in Japan and the United States.:face_holding_back_tears:

There are typically only 3 in-person GO Fest events each summer:

  • Somewhere in the US
  • Somewhere in Japan
  • Somewhere in Europe

Then there will be a global event at the end of the summer.

All of this is subject to change under the new owner.

There’s probably one “Fest Lite” event each quarter that diesnt have GO Fest in now?

There’s no reason why Scopely can’t do More Go Fest globally to be fair. The 3 they currently do… Japan, Europe and the US. They could also do other parts of Asia that has high player base, Australia / NZ. Other parts of Europe or Middle East.
