One of my waypoints got accepted and says it is in queue so does that mean will it be added soon.

Can you show us a screenshot of what you are seeing on your contributions page? “In queue” means it has been submitted, and is not on “Hold”. It will say “Accepted” if it has been accepted. Other statuses could be “In voting” or “Under review” or “Not accepted”.
Even if a nomination has been accepted, it does not necessarily mean it will be used as a Pokestop or gym. There is a great article about how S2 cells are used to determine which will become game locations here: https://pokemongohub.net/post/article/comprehensive-guide-s2-cells-pokemon-go/

I think you are saying that you successfully submitted a Wayspot, and in Contribution Management it’s listed as In Queue. In Queue means that it’s waiting to be voted on by ML, the AI system, and/or the community. ML takes about 24 hours to either reject or pass onto the community, so once that timeframe is up, you’re waiting for reviewers to vote on it. Once at least 1 reviewer has voted, the status will be changed to In Voting. Here’s a helpful infographic that may explain things better for you:

While it is in Queue you can review your nomination. If you want you can put it on hold whilst you do that.
You can’t alter the photographs or the location but you can edit the text.
Do simple things like the spelling is correct - it is all to easy to make a mistake. Check your description is accurate and gives good coverage of whatever it is you have nominated…..you can check you have the correct information.
For the supplementary have you been clear about how it meets at least one of the key criteria of great place to be social, exercise or explore. If it’s useful you can put a link to a website in the supplementary info.
The more effort you put into your nomination the better the chance of success.
Then release hold and then wait ……it can take time.
