Is it really so that I cant edit a suggested description? I proof read my text and for a simple thing as “AND” written “ABD” I have to walk back, withdraw my old and make a new description edit?

Text can be edited whilst a nomination is in queue or on hold.
If it is the text of an edit it can’t be edited, it has to run its course.
The other option is to let it run it’s course, not everyone would reject for a single typo. If Accepted you could then re-visit and do an Edit.
You can edit from the “contributions” menu, until the wayspot nomination transitions to “in voting” status. After that, it cannot be edited, except as a separate edit request after approval.
