Editing Wayspots

I had a PokéStop approved and it became a gym when another nearby stop was approved. I realized the location of the gym is a little bit off and requested an edit. When I submitted it the message stated that I would hear back from Niantic within a few hours. I haven’t even received an automated message, so I’m wondering if the edit was even received.

Did you use help chat? They reply in the same text box where you sent the information, not by email.

I did, but there was no reply other than that I would hear something in a few hours. Now when I click on the chat box it starts a new chat.

Okay, then you have lost the chat history. Some people find that happens to them, but my browser doesn’t lose it. You can check to see if the Wayspot moves. If it hasn’t moved in a day or two, then you can use the form linked at the top here under “Wayspot Removals” for modifications, too:

This one will start an email chain, but I find it harder to use. The reasons for reporting never match what I am trying to do, so I just pick something, then write in what needs to be done in the text box and supply the evidence. Do not reply to the automated acknowledgement email even if it asks for your credentials as property owner. You will get another email later with a response from a team member.
