Effect of a school on the property

Locally we have colleges where there is a mix of 16 and 17 year olds and then 18+.
These have a large vocational angle or act as satellites for university courses it s difficult to determine what the most significant age group is.
you go with the fact there are significant under18s so not eligible. But I’m sure this is not the only place in the world where there is a blurred area around the group starting to become adults.

This is what I assumed so was just hoping for clarification.

Many Tertiary education places use the term college too - eg Universities that use a collegiate system such as Durham or specific places like the Royal Northern College of Music.
I think the words on their own are not useful as there is no set usage linked to age.

Academy is another “school” word that is used in many ways. I have seen K-12 slip through when the name is “Academy” something or other.

I guess staff is not going to address the original question as to when a K-12 on the property disqualifies the church.

I remember a discussion on the old forum where a church was removed for having a Sunday School, and the decision was reversed after we explained that Sunday School is just a breakdown into age appropriate groups, not day care.

I remember going to Sunday school a few times (not many, my family weren’t very religious) but I’m pretty sure my parents or grandparents were at the church with me, so its definitely not child care, just like you say, specific groups but everyone still attends.

I still cant get my head around having separate buildings on the same large site and PoIs in different buildings being removed due to a school nearby?! I would have thought only the school buildings and grounds would be ineligible but other places would be okay

https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/statistics-explained/index.php?title=International_Standard_Classification_of_Education_(ISCED)

ISCED 0: Early childhood education (‘less than primary’ for educational attainment)
ISCED 1: Primary education
ISCED 2: Lower secondary education
ISCED 3: Upper secondary education
ISCED 4: Post-secondary non-tertiary education

現在の不承認基準の表記「a K12 and under school (preschool, primary/elementary, secondary/high school), child care」
に加えて、「UNESCO ISCED: Schools including Low education and Medium education (ISCED 0 - ISCED 4)」

I like the idea.
Is level 4 meant for those who are finished with school but are under 18?

I think this would be too complicated, as not all countries follow these guidelines, not just the US.

The simple rule is this: if a place is primarily for those under 18, it’s ineligible. This is what is stated in the clarification:

That covers schools, preschools, daycares/child care centers, etc.

Wikipediaには「Programmes providing learning experiences that build on secondary education and prepare for labour market entry or tertiary education. The content is broader than secondary but not as complex as tertiary education.」

ISCED 4 (Post-secondary non-tertiary education) is basically a subset of post-18 education, so not included in K-12 and not excluded by the schools ineligibility rule.

Keeping the rule as is OK, because it is clarified as schools (etc) for people under 18 years of age. “K-12” is just a simple tag to click, not a detailed description.
