hola!

Hello and welcome,

I’d like to add that in your description, you mention Pokémon Go, one of the Niantic games. Niantic games and game terms cannot be mentioned, as this is seen as influencing reviewers. You can mention the Pokémon TCG and that it’s a Play Pokémon store, if this store sells Pokémon items, just nothing related to Niantic games.

Make sure you don’t include any information about any Niantic game, be it PoGo, Ingress, or another game. I can see this as one of the reasons why ML, the AI, rejected this.

I’d also encourage you to review the Wayspot criteria, to make sure you know what is and isn’t eligible, and how to best nominate. That information can be found here:

The rule that games should not be mentioned is not an absolute one, in rare cases where the nomination actually has relations to that game and that infromation is accurate (and not some weird contruction just to put it in there), it is entirely OK to put that in the text. In this example, if the store hosts PoGO events like PVP tournaments, it would not fall under the rejection criteria.

Yes, but most reviewers see any mention of any Niantic game or game terms, even in the supporting info, as grounds for rejection.

Also, many places that are Play! Pokémon spots have official sponsored stops/gyms in PoGo. The comic book store in my city that hosts Play! Pokémon events, including PoGo events, has an official sponsored stop.

Saying “it’s forbidden” and “it’s what reviewers would do” are very different things though

Other than this also being a Play! Pokémon location, what is the point you are making in your second part?

Like I said, most Play! Pokémon locations already have stops/gyms in PoGo; they aren’t in Ingress, so they aren’t Wayspots. The stops/gyms, depending on the density rule, will have the official Play! Pokémon logo as the photo on the photo disk. Again, we have one in my city at a local comic book store, one that just hosted October Community Day as well. This comic book store also has a separate Wayspot, but it’s not in PoGo due to their Play! Pokémon stop.

While Dyskeu is listed on the official Play! Pokémon website as an official store, there are no events currently listed, and you can filter the results by PoGo, too. It doesn’t have a Wayspot, so I would also assume it doesn’t have a Play! Pokémon stop/gym. Their official website doesn’t list any kind of events happening, either, which is here:

https://www.dyskeu.cl/

However, their Instagram does list events (I think they may not be updated with the Play! Pokémon website), which seems to mainly be for PoGo and TCG:

@GaboCollector You may want to consider adding the website and/or Instagram links to your supporting info, as it helps better support your nomination. There’s more info on Instagram, so that would be the better link to include, but there is a link to it on their website as well.

Responding to this:

Play Pokémon stops cannot be put into PoGo by players; they are sponsored stops/gyms, so the store may have to contact PoGo about having one. These stops/gyms do not show up on the Lightship map, similar to other sponsored stops/gyms, so they are not handled by Wayfarer.

You may have to speak to the store owner/manager to see if they are able to contact PoGo to have a stop/gym. If they cannot get stops/gyms through the program, you are still welcome to submit the stores as Wayspots, or resubmit in this case.

Thanks for the reply, but do you know what the communication channel is with PoGo? A robot always answers.

Again, this is not something you will be able to do. The store owner/manager most likely has some way to communicate with the Play program in regards to this. It’s best to talk to them about getting stops/gyms and them to talk to their contact with the Play program.
