True. I am abit skeptical if i got nomination that doesnt have surrounding photo
I do wonder if these are being taken off Wayfarer, the only other source I can think of is IITC. Weirdly, most of the copied photos have a dark tint.

The photos on intel.ingress.com are really small. It makes a lot more sense to imagine they are being taken from wayfarer while reviewing, as you can get large photos from there - plus supporting photos.
So it isn’t enough to be sceptical of nominations without supporting photos.
This may also explain why they got accepted - good photos, good supporting photos, reviewers first-glance is of a good nomination and they would have to look closely at google maps to see the problem.
The dark tint might be deliberate, as it could change the photo sufficiently so spot auto-detection?

No bridleway at this location according to OSM, Way: 138503224 | OpenStreetMap - also the NW end of the PROW is visible on StreetView and no bridleway marker there either.

A little bit further south.. again, no bridleway here according to OSM - Way: 1239636247 | OpenStreetMap - a look on StreetView also shows no bridleway sign to the north.

This utility box has a wall behind it in the photo, but StreetView shows a fence - Google Maps. Likely copied from somewhere but cannot find the original.

If this is the “work” of one guy then someone at Niantic needs to take a look.
With this many I would remove all of his nominations even if not all are fake and give him a lengthly suspension / ban.
Any real noms can then be re-submitted by others?
Could someone @Niantic just let us know that it has been noted and someone is / will be looking in to it.
