I need some clarification and maybe some help. A few weeks ago, I noticed that a community member submitted a falsified Wayspot that, as it seems, was actually accepted. It’s quite obvious that it was AI-generated.
I think this is not correct and also unfair to other community members. I only noticed it because the same member submitted another AI-generated Wayspot, and this time they didn’t even bother to make it look convincing.
Unfortunately, my report about this fraud didn’t achieve anything since the first Wayspot is already live in the game. For this reason, I’m using the forum to make it public, especially since I’m not from Belgium myself but from Germany.
Can you clarify what happened previously.
Did you submit an ingame report on the Lego cars board?
And it was denied. If you could post the rejection email (minus any personal info) that would help.
A few weeks ago, I was reviewing Wayspots as usual to check if they met the criteria or not, and I already noticed with the Lego cars that a community member tried to submit a falsified Wayspot. I reported it on the platform as a fake Wayspot submission and didn’t take any further action at that time.
Today, while reviewing again, I noticed that a signpost Wayspot was submitted with the same background as the Lego cars, and it is 100% AI-generated. As confirmation, I also saw that the Lego car Wayspot is nearby and has already been accepted into the system.
This means the submitter successfully managed to get one fake Wayspot approved and is now trying to create a second fake one.
I cannot report it ingame because I live about 120 km away
Thanks for the report @1stwukong1337 . I have retired the Wayspot in question. Moreover, I see that we have already taken action against the submitter earlier today based on a review flow report for another submission.
