Getting constant errors when trying to review wayspots

I first got this error message: “please retry your request” on Friday and I have barely been able to load way spots for review since then. It might load one after 10 reloads and then it gives me the error right after hitting ‘submit’ on one review. I can barely review 5 things a day at this rate.

I am using a MACbook pro and I’ve tried on Safari and Chrome. I’ve also tried on my iOS phone.

I’d love to know if anyone else is experiencing this?

I see that you have not set your bonus location. Please set it to a location of your choice and you should start getting reviews.

I can actually see right on my settings that I have set my bonus location to *******. Can you please double check. I have barely been able to load 3 reviews a day with hitting the refresh constantly and checking throughout the day. Prior to last Friday, I was able to review over 1000 in a week. This seems to be something on the Niantic server’s end of things. Thanks for your help.

Mod Edit: Removed the location details

I see that you have set your Hometown to the location you had mentioned. Your Bonus location is not yet set.

To choose a Bonus location:

  1. Go to the Settings page
  2. Tap or click the pencil icon next to the Bonus Location option
  3. Type a location you’d like to use in the search bar
  4. Tap or click on the map to place a pin

Yesterday, when I looked at my settings on my profile, both locations were already selected. Today when I looked, my bonus location was empty so I have switched that and selected a bonus location. But I’m still getting this error when I try to load reviews.

I have double checked and my ‘bonus’ location is set so that’s not the issue. Please assist.

Hello! I just moved your comment to your previous topic so the Staff will be able to continue helping you.

I think the point of setting a bonus location may have been that you should put it somewhere with lots of things to review since you seem to have cleared the queue in your area. Did you set it somewhere far away from you?

Hello, I’m still not having any success reviewing stops. Please help when you can. Thank you.

My home location should have a lot to review and I set my bonus location as another city in my country but there might not be a lot of things to review there but I can’t change it now. Either way, I’m guessing it’s not normal to only be able to review maybe 5 or 6 nominations a day, no matter where your locations are set.

I can confirm that you do not have enough eligible nominations to review at the moment.
