When there was no duplicate counter, those agreements were just put in the rejection counter.

I’ll probably qualify for the ban hammer. :grimacing:

I cannot tell you about all the bad spellings and grammar mistakes I saw on Saturday at 2 of the universities in my city…

I dont believe anyone intendeds to misspell so id never report someone for that, and I hope no one else would either😬. Even though I have seen submissions where people clearly dont know how to properly spell a word cause they misspell it in every section…just painful to see mostly.

I have mispelt a few locations. Typing on a mobile hasn’t been my thing. I’m a touch typist, and not a touch mobile typist. :crying_cat_face:

I usually find the mistakes around the time it gets approved by ML.

Yeah ive had a few in my area Ive had to correct and some of them leave you scratching your head. I usually just choose to think a kid did it but in some cases, like a university in your example, that isnt always likely case lol.

Im not the best with the small phone keyboards or spelling/grammar(as you can prob tell from my posts at times lol) but Im ocd/very meticulous with anything official so I like to make sure I read over it a few times. Whether its school papers back when I had those or wayspot submissions now. Mostly cause I know how prone I am to mix words or mess them up with my dyslexiašŸ˜…. Sadly, some dont share that sentiment or focus on submitting a good wayspot and just want to make a lot of things to spin. Im at least more forgiving than ML cause ive had rejections for a single misspell(given it was the title but still, I just left off a character cause my thumb didnt hit the keyboard right lol)

It’s in the UK and since Alan Turing is from there…I wouldn’t doubt the plaque

I know who Alan Turing is. I know where he is from. However, plaques can be made quite easily. I would need more info before I can be comfortable in supporting it.

I’m getting this today as well, and the main photo is quite blurry.

Love to get a screenshot of the blurry photo so I can ask help chat to remove it. Might have to settle for a screenshot of the disc.

I’m pretty sure you don’t play Ingress, right? Do you have an Ingress account? If you do, it’s pretty easy to get the photo(s) regardless of where you are. Might save a trip and give you the cleaner screenshot you’re looking for.

If not, I’m sure the screenshot of the disc will be enough.

I had the same issues as well.

No interest in Ingress. Again, it’s the main photo for the stop, so a screenshot of the disc should be enough.

I already got my photo approved by ML anyways.

I’ve never tried to level up in ingress enough to actually be able to do anything. I’m level 2, not making 10 or whatever it is any time soon  originally it had the most awful flickering screen, so I couldn’t look at it, and even though thats gone, it means I skipped all the intro so have no idea what its about.

If the photo is really bad, help chat should be able to identify and help out anyway. Although i typically include a photo of the overall waypoint with all photos, i never circle or point out the one im reporting.

Well, mostly nice to confirm it isn’t ā€œme.ā€

I loved the experience of being stopped waiting for a traffic light to change, taking a picture, doing a few crop & edit adjustments, adding it, and getting to :+1: the photo before the light changed!

PS I sent you that gift. I also made a description edit but I don’t usually experience ML approval on those…

So, as far as using help chat for removing ā€œbad photosā€ goes, this is an ok approach to get rid of really blurry/low quality photos or photos that have people/license plates/submitter car parts? There are a few in my area and I thought all we could do was submit a new photo and pray people thumbs it up. Very interested in this.

Yes, a lot of these photos should never have been accepted. Personally i only reporting them if they have a better alternative present. Unless theres an extreme reason to report them.

So, I did report this to PoGo help, but it wouldn’t allow me to attach a screenshot to my report…

What info should I provide to make it easy? Just the picture of the wayspot title & the photos? Or will they also want lat&lon/location? Appreciate your clarification of this!
