Not receiving e-mails from WF, worried about not getting the reward codes!

I did around 180 edits for the challenge, most of them have already been processed and accepted, but around half-way through the challenge Wayfarer stopped sending me e-mails about my nominations.
I am using Apple ID login.

Now I am worried that I will not get my reward codes because they are e-mailed to participants and I don’t seem to be receiving e-mails from WF at all.
Yes, I have checked spam etc and was not born yesterday either :slight_smile:

As for background, I play Ingress. I do not have a PoGo account or any other NIA game’s account.

What do I do?

There have been other Apple ID login issues as of late.

You may want to check out the Niantic ID help, since that is what is used to login to Wayfarer, as there could be an issue with the email address that may be showing up. Here are just a few help topics:

Yes, thank you, but I already went through the Niantic ID pages etc. Essentially I would like to receive my reward codes somehow :sweat_smile:

If you don’t receive them by November 29th, then hopefully a staff member will DM y9ou with them.

You may also want to report your issue on one of the threads in the Bug Report section that I included in my previous post.

I myself have an Android phone, so I don’t use Apple ID, just Facebook or Google. It’s also a good idea to have more than 1 account linked to your Niantic ID if issues like this do occur; it’s the main reason I have both Facebook and Google linked.

All good, received the codes, seems I was just anxious because the e-mails aren’t working properly.
However, it would be great if the NIA would properly implement and fix Apple ID Login as Wayfarer is now supposedly supporting it!
E-mails from WF are important to it’s users, especially people such as myself who keep a steady pace of supporting quality wayspots (I have created 932 wayspots or ‘portals’ since 2017 when OPR started), and I expect to receive them no matter what my login method is. Every other service seems to be working with AppleID/privaterelay, so if Niantic Wayfarer is not working, then the problem is in WF’s side, not the user’s or appleid’s.

Regarding Wayfarer emails, these are sent to the email address connected to the log in method you use to sign in to the game while submitting the contribution. If you use AppleID/privaterelay, you should receive the emails on the email connected to it.

I was not awarded the codes for the recent challenge while I definitely completed the requirements within the time frame. How may I request the code for the ingress badge?

Not always, I receive mine on an old email I used to use for pokemon go and wayfarer, but have switched to a different one, but still receive all wayfarer emails on the old email. It is not connected in any way to my Niantic account anymore. And believe me, I have checked.

Are these emails related to contributions submitted in the past? If yes, that’s working as intended. If you’re receiving email confirmations for recent submissions on an email that was removed from your account before making that nomination, please share an example and we will check.

I have the same issue, nothing from the challenge, no mail no nothing.

I see that you did not participate in the edits challenge and as a result, are not eligible for rewards.

According to my browser history, I did, but it’s okay. Granted, I participated on the last day it was on.

Did you review or submit? The challenge this time was for submitting edits.

All nomination emails are working as expected as you described.

Any email such as codes after a challenge, or whenever there is a wayfarer email requesting feedback, the google form one.

Those emails are received to an email that has been disconnected from all Niantic products for years.

It was an email that was used to first create my pokemon go and wayfarer account when those products were first created.

I then changed all my emails for all Niantic products, but still receive code and survey emails to it. The working theory I have heard discussed is that some database is not syncing correctly to the current email address, and only pulls the first email address used for wayfarer.

I believe this is why so many people “don’t receive” codes. They are being sent to an email that they don’t check, use, or is possibly deleted. They don’t expect emails sent to them, because wayfarer says that is not their email.

One or a few of the ambassadors might know more about this issue.

You had to submit at least 10 edits (title/description/location/photo) in order to qualify for the community rewards with the Edits Challenge.

Now, there was the Brazil review challenge that happened after this, and if you participated in that, you had to do at least 50 reviews from Brazil to qualify for rewards.

That’s correct and Nia is working on a fix.

Hello, I suppose this is here to claim for not having received any reward. I should get incubators in Pogo, very useful for the incoming event. So I’m very disappointed. Do I ha ve to write to any support to claim rewards? In addition, I know other friends I the same situation.

Did you submit edits, or just review? There was some confusion since this challenge was for submitting, not reviewing.

I know I did around 300 verifications during the challenge. So it was mixed. I also managed to create a pokestop during that week.
