Are all new submissions paused? I have 4 new ones stuck in queue since the weekend. Meanwhile the city is lacking new things to review.
No, a grace period of 1-7 days before it will go into voting is normal. We have seen some lucky nominations get decided that were submitted this weekend.
Nope. I have submission from 20th April went into voting and got approved. Sadly only 1 so far though
I still have 6 more from 20th april still in queue.
I do have submissions submitted last week that were already accepted or rejected, but then suddenly it all started queueing this weekend.
It is crazy how variable the grace period can be. I always thought it was by location, but it seems to be totally random.
Well we can only wait and see how is it going to be in the next several days/weeks

I’ve tried changing home/bonus location, mobile/wifi. Nope, nothing makes nominations/edits to review appear any faster. Or at all.
Any hope Niantic can apply some magic to make this challenge work?

I’ve accepted that I’m not getting to 500. I’ve changed my locations. I’ve tried reviewing on PC and mobile. I’ve tried WiFi and data. It’s all been futile.
They need to extend this.

Have you tried places such as Jakarta and areas surrounding it?
Ok, that felt a bit off especially coming from an ambassador.
I was kind of hoping for something a little more helpful, or at least a nudge to escalate it so things could be looked into. It’s a bit discouraging when you’re trying to review submissions and hit walls like this without much support.
Hopefully next time something like this pops up, it gets taken a bit more seriously.
With the split of Niantic and Scopley I suspect none of the current stuff is going to change until after the handover is complete. Who knows how any of this will work in a few months.
Not sure what you are looking to resolve here. Niantic are not going to halt the challenge to look at something someone who has no visibility of the backend code says is an issue. All you are seeing is a JSON responses. Nothing more.
