Update 4/22 Noon EDT:
Data has been updated once again, some of these spots have been mentioned in this thread and appear to be running low but are still showing up on the list so make if it what you will.
If you do find places with things to review which aren’t on the list, please share them in this thread. Keep up the great work, we’re nearly there!
Update 4/20 1pm EDT:
Happy Easter to those who celebrate! We got some updated data so the below has been updated in a somewhat different format. Continuing sharing what you find in the comment please!
Update 4/19 9pm EDT:
This list is now very out of date and I suspect it won’t really be updated until Monday morning. Hopefully everyone can share places where they find reviews in the comments and make progress that way in the meantime!
The 2025 Global Wayfarer Review Challenge has begun! But the world is a big place, and the backlog covers all 6 sides. Here’s a list to help you decide where to focus your reviews. We’ll do our best to keep it up to date as the challenge progresses!
Edit: This is not based on personal preference, but based on areas that need the most help. Feel free to review wherever you want, but this list is intended to help you find reviews!
To clarify, this is not based on personal preference, but based on areas that need the most help. Feel free to review wherever you want, but this list is intended to help you find reviews!
Keep in mind that some of these are the largest cities in the areas of the countries they are in, but there are also rural areas that may need some assistance, as nomninatons/edits may sit longer in queue with fewer reviewers. So, if you are a rural reviewer, you may want to consider helping out another rural area.
I’m not surprised. We used to have a large backlog, but it was largely cleared out last year during the challenge. Resolutions have slowed over the past few months, but that largely seems to be the result of too few reviewers.
I’ve had a few edits approved today, but they aren’t my oldest; most were submitted within the last week. I still have 1 edit from the edits challenge in voting, and I know others that still have a large number from then still undecided.
Doing my twice yearly visit to Gee Bee… Bunch of edits/new noms. They moved slowly. Challenge kicked in — Suddenly a lot processed in very short order… It is almost like Emily is back at work
I think it’s my first time doing a global review challenge without a country designation.
I remember that when our country was included, of course, it resulted in an incredibly fast approval and rejection..
Also, I remember that when another specific country was applied, the approval rejection result came out faster than expected.
But… this global challenge doesn’t even include the upgrade right from the reward..
If you don’t change your hometown or bonus location..
It’s a structure where only the country in question will conduct a review..
How quickly will the approval and results of the stacked candidates come out..
Actually, I’m not really looking forward to it..
I envy a country where there are many reviewers. Still, looking at the number of reviewers, I think we can get the maximum reward even if we participate in the minimum amount.
