I have to say, this is extremely disappointing news. I was excited to participate in the challenge, but I’m currently sitting on 4 SRRs and have no desire for another. Why not grant the Lucky Trinkets separately after the problems are solved, to honor the original announcement?

Completely disappointed by the lucky trinket being changed to a super rocket radar, I just spent 4 and a half hours reviewing because of the lucky trinket incentive. I hope it’s figured out soon and we’re able to get one

You get to choose where you review, as you get to change your home and bonus locations during this challenge.
So, if you want to only focus on areas that may be a little more familiar to you, such as an area that also mainly uses the langauge you’re more comfortable with or that had a good deal of Google Street View (like many large metro areas), you can do that during this challenge.
Hi, I’m beginner for Wayfarer. I want the old Japanese to make it a little easier for them to understand.
I’m so happy that the much-awaited Global Wayfarer Challenge has been held!
But it’s a shame there’s no upgrade to the personal review rewards..
And I have a question.
It’s a global challenge, but does it not have Wayspot from other countries, but only Wayspot review from those countries?
Even though the Wayfarer Challenge is on, only our country’s Wayspot screening comes out.
And even if I don’t activate the Wayfarer challenge, I will participate in the global challenge, right?
Change your Bonus or Home location to see reviews from other countries. Or you can work hard to resolve the nominations in your own country.
I’m have my home set to my own country but I am reviewing small countries with my bonus area.

If you don’t move the bonus position, you’ll only be reviewing Wayspot in your own country.
I was curious because when the global challenge corresponding to a particular country was conducted, it came out even if I didn’t set it up separately.

Well, guess I no longer have a reason to do extra reviews since the Lucky Trinket was going to be the only reason Id push to the top reward 
RIP (especially since a Super Rocket radar is NOWHERE NEAR as valuable of a reward as a Lucky Trinket)

Advertising the Lucky Trinket, making us start spending time on reviews, and THEN telling us it has been changed to a much less valuable reward is really not good. Super Rocket Radars aren’t very valuable since the focus for getting several of a Shadow Legendary shifted to Shadow Raids instead - and also they’re free. Lucky Trinkets cost money and most players only had the opportunity to get 1 so far.
If it was changed before the challenge started, sure, but it was changed after we all already started doing our reviews. Surely you can figure out a way to grant it, whether it’s through an auto-completed research or something.

I would actually say that a Super Rocket Radar is of more use to most players than a Lucky Trinket. I, myself, would have no use for a Lucky Trinket, as I have no one to trade with; all of my friends in-game are from other places in the world, so not easy to meet up with them.
Also, there most likely will still be legendary mon to get with the Super Rocket Radar in the future, as those change every month, Shadow Palkia is the current catchable from Giovanni for April 2025.
But, let’s move on from talk about gameplay and talk more about the challenge itself.

Its getting so tedious to log back in every time I stop reviewing for a little while!
I’m also already getting asked if I’m a robot after 17 reviews, many of which were description edits where one is blank, and one is a proper description, so how many seconds am I supposed to take there?!
I would also really love if there was a settings option to permanently turn off the “show differences” on title and description edits. I can always make sense of the differences easier with it turned off, albeit Im sure its helpful for some people. Please give us the choice for which is the default!
Oh well. For once I was excited and tempted to come back to wayfarer after so many years, just because of the trinket… but a radar seriously?

I also wanted to take part for the first time because the reward seemed really appropriate. But now that it’s been changed into the super rocket radar (wtf?), I’m not doing it. I feel like I’m being taken for a ride (again).
