How do I find out why my wayfair point was declined and how do I appeal

I tried to submit a location and it got declined and I can’t find. A way to apppeal it or find out why it got declined as a spot?

Welcome to the forum! I am sure this post will be moved to Nomination Support where you can ask for feedback on it before you use an appeal. You get two appeals, each on a 15 day counter before you can use it again. If you don’t see the button to Appeal, then you don’t have one available.

I would encourage you to show us screenshots of the nomination so we can advise you on improving or appealing it.

(The rejection reason should be on the contribution. If it isn’t there, try logging out and back in to the Wayfarer site.)

Sorry to hear your nomination was declined. You should be able to see the reason(s) on your contribution page. Sometimes you need to refresh a few times to get them all to show up.

As far as appeals, you can have 2 available at a time, but if you use one it’ll take 15 days before you will get another one. So I’m guessing you have appealed a few things recently.

And lastly, I have moved your question to Nomination Support. Folks here can help you ifix up to retry the nomination or appeal depending on what you want to do.

Okay this was rejected by the “automated process” which is a Machine Learning model. That photo is not good. I can’t tell that is a play area field from the photo. You need to find a good focal point for the photo and resubmit this instead of appealing - unless the field is already a Wayspot. Also watch out for typos.

When you resubmit, do not mention Pokemon Go. The prompt tells you that you are submitting a Pokestop, but you are actually submitting a Wayspot.

As for why the photo isn’t good, it’s because you took it from a vehicle, and part of said vehicle is in the photo. Main photos should not be taken from vehicles as they tend to be low quality, and also tend to have part of the vehicle showing, which in this case is a side mirror.
